Benefits of the "Politics Classroom"

Live Forums

Join the community every Thursday afternoon for a live session of advice, guidance, reflections, celebrations, sharing ideas and discussing everything related to teaching Politics in our classrooms. Also, our termly community events are great opportunities to come together and do some deeper thinking, collaboration and planning.

Resources for A Level Politics

Access regularly uploaded resources for UK Government and Politics, US Government and Politics, Global Politics and Political Ideologies. Share your own materials, as well as use the excellent work of colleagues. You can also make requests in the discussion forums, collaborate with others and leave reviews as feedback.

Recorded Lectures & Podcasts

Each month, there will be a recorded lecture on an aspect of UK, US, Global or Ideology politics that you can download and share with students to enrich their understanding of the subject. Also, you can follow "State of the Parties", which is our monthly review of opinion polling data of the UK political parties and what this tells us about UK politics. Again, great for sharing with students or using in your lessons.

Exam Advice & Guidance

We believe that high-quality tutoring should be accessible to everyone. That's why we offer competitive pricing and flexible payment options to help you achieve your academic goals.

CPD For Teachers

Regular professional development videos to support Politics teachers to be the best they can be in the classroom, as well as enable them to promote and engender a wider culture of political literacy in their schools.

Discounts & Early Bird Availability

As a member of the "Politics Classroom" community, you will get discounts for the Political Education For Students' nationwide conferences and events, as well as the opportunity to book your spaces first. This means great value for money for your school (and students), as well as guaranteed attendance at some brilliant learning opportunities.

Professional Network & Collaboration

A central feature of the Politics Classroom community is the ability to network and collaborate with fellow Politics teachers. No more existing in silos. Use the space to share ideas, celebrate successes, ask questions, release frustrations, seek advice and let everyone get to know you. It is a space for teachers, run by teachers.

Through the high quality of resources available and weekly Live Forum sessions, I have developed a range of new strategies that have improved my teaching, which has, in turn, built the confidence of my pupils.  It’s been well worth joining."

As someone who was not particularly politically aware until her 30s, I do not want my students to be in the same position themselves.  I trust the Politics Classroom as a platform because of the regular and impressive knowledge. Through the Politics Classroom, I aim to increase my subject knowledge and my confidence teaching about politics - as a bonus, I get to regularly meet and speak to like-minded professionals.
